Senior IT Manager

Requirements:

•    Experience developing and shipping entertainment and/or serious games
•    BS/MS MIS, Computer Science or equivalent
•    5+ years experience in a wide variety of IT engineering roles
•    MS and Cisco CCNA certifications or equivalents are a plus
•    Experience with clustered Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory setup and maintenance
•    Direct experience maintaining MS Exchange in a clustered configuration
•    Experience configuring and programming SharePoint
•    Working knowledge of phone switches and VOIP
•    Strong experience in configuring, monitoring and maintaining secure networks, with direct experience in router and firewall rule analysis and configuration, including VPN and SSL setup and maintenance, as well as IDS log interpretation and defensive measure implementation
•    Must be capable of implementing effective backup and disaster recovery policies with regular recovery testing
•    Must be capable of implementing and enforcing effective system and Internet usage and security policies with compliance verification
•    Experience with nix servers in a mixed server environment
•    Linux / Red Hat Certification a plus
•    Experience with corporate IS
•    Excellent multitasking, time-management, and organization skills are required
•    Ability to gain a security clearance, if required
•    Must be able to relocate to Austin
•    Must be a US citizen

Responsibilities:

•    Determine and implement company IT requirements.
•    Guide and work with vendors to ensure that initial IT systems (Exchange, MS Active Directory, SharePoint, Cisco network equipment, phone system, etc…) are properly installed, provisioned and functioning.
•    Create a 24/7 monitoring, notification and response system to ensure uninterrupted service.
•    Provide desktop, IT and development server setup and support functions.
•    Implement IT use, security and system backup/restore policies. Recommend and implement policy enhancements in an on-going fashion to ensure the protection of corporate IT resources and the highest service levels to users.
