C++/C# Programmers, Game Programmers, Lead Simulations Programmer

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years professional software development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong knowledge of C++ and or C#
  • Solid software engineering knowledge
  • Experience in working (and thriving) with software development teams
  • Must be able to relocate to Austin

Recommended

  • Experience in physics-based modeling
  • Knowledge of maritime environment
  • Experience developing and shipping entertainment and/or serious games
  • Experience with the Gamebryo engine and toolsets
  • Experience in working with other middleware game packages
  • Strong domain expertise in a gaming related field

Graphics and Engine Programmers

Requirements:

  • Extensive C++ programming skills
  • In depth understanding of object oriented design and programming 
  • Extensive knowledge of graphics programming and 3D math
  • Experience in designing, implementing, debugging and optimizing 3D graphics code
  • Experience with the implementation of hardware shaders
  • Experience with HLSL, Cg, and/or other high level shader languages
  • Experience with DirectX
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles such as coupling and cohesion
  • Familiar with game asset pipelines
  • Ability to collaborate with artists on graphics techniques
  • Must have shipped at least one title
  • 3DS-Mas plug-in experience a plus

  • Must be able to relocate to Austin

Contract Game Audio Effects Designer

Highly skilled and experienced Audio Effects Designer available to work immediately on a military simulation demo.  The contract requires 2-3 weeks of full time work both off site and on site in Austin.  Contractor must have existing access to all tools, software, and hardware necessary to accomplish the work.  Submit resume including compensation requirements with the subject line, "Audio Designer."

This part time position has the opportunity of becoming full time with the  potential of continued career growth towards the role of Office Manager.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled and must have previous office assistant experience

Senior/Lead .NET Engineer

Immediate opening for a Senior/Lead .NET Software Engineer with significant experience in graphics and game development.  This individual will lead our game level design tools group to build .NET WinForms applications and other .NET/C++CLR/C++ applications as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ yrs. of .NET WinForms development experience(C#, C++CLR) 
  • 2+ yrs. experience with graphics intensive 3D applications programming(not necessarily .NET) 
  • 5-10+ yrs. Java, C++, or equivalent software development experience 
  • Significant team lead experience
  • Solid and proven OO and API design skills 
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • Good requirements analysis and design skills-can analyze processes and provide implementation advice
  • Good communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Self-starter
  • Comfortable with agile development environment 
  • Likes Ping-Pong

Plusses:

  • Experience with game UI and tools development 
  • RTS and FPS game development experience 
  • Is Good at Ping-Pong
